About Road Apple Acres

Road Apple Acres is a government-recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit equine rescue located in Arizona. Founded in 2005, we have dedicated over two decades to rescuing horses from neglect, abuse, and abandonment  providing them with expert veterinary care, rehabilitation, and loving permanent or adoptive homes.

Every horse that arrives at Road Apple Acres receives an individualized care plan from nutritional rehabilitation and farrier work to veterinary treatment and patient, trust-building handling. We believe every horse deserves a second chance, and we work tirelessly to make that possible.
